Fill your Isolyser/SMS container with sharps (needles, endo files, broken carpules, scalpel blades and any other potential sharps). Once full, add proprietary A & B catalyst packets to the patented, odor-free liquid plastic monomer inside each container. The activation will cause liquid to heat and convert the liquid monomer into a solid polymeric matrix. Once solidified, the sharps are treated and encapsulated, rendered non-biohazardous, unrecognizable, and unusable; safe for disposal in the regular trash.*
Disposal of activated Isolyser/SMS containers as “regular” office trash is allowed in the following States: AK, AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MO, MS, MT, NE, NM, NV, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, WA, WI, WV, and WY.
